Better materials for your students, in less time
AI for Teachers is ten hours of one-to-one training, built around the lessons you actually teach. You bring the subject and the classroom knowledge. I show you how to use AI to draft, level and check your worksheets, quizzes, readings and unit plans.
No theory and no tour of tools. Every one-hour session is a project: you make something you can use.
$200 for the full ten hours. Online, one-to-one, at times that suit your timetable.
Who it's for
You may be short of time. You may also be wary of AI, worried about accuracy, quality, or what it means for your students. Both are reasonable places to start from.
Classroom teachers (K-12)
Any subject, any grade. We work on the materials you really use.
- Worksheets and quizzes
- Reading passages and revision packs
- Whole unit plans
Language teachers (ESL and EFL)
In a school or teaching privately, checked against the level you are actually teaching.
- Readings written to a CEFR level
- Dialogues and speaking tasks
- Graded exercises
What you leave with
These are the targets we work towards. The exact numbers depend on your subject and how much material you bring.
- 20 to 40 reusable lesson components, made from your own materials: quizzes, readings, worksheets, activities
- 3 to 5 complete units or lessons, ready to teach
- A repeatable process you can run on your own: write a prompt template, refine the draft, use it
- The confidence to keep experimenting once we've finished
Ten one-hour sessions
Every session is a project built around your own materials. We start from what you need to make this week, not from a syllabus.
-
1–2
Diagnostic and quick wins
We look at what you make now and where the time goes, then produce your first useful pieces together.
-
3–8
Deep application on your own materials
Six project sessions: quizzes and assessments, readings and worksheets, interactive activities, using Google's NotebookLM to work from your own source documents, and a session on quality assurance. You do the work, with me beside you.
-
9–10
Integration and guardrails
Fitting it into your week, and agreeing what you will and won't use AI for.
AI drafts. You decide.
AI gets things wrong. It writes confident answers that are mistaken, drifts above the reading level you asked for, and produces quiz questions with two right answers. Checking the output is part of the method, not an extra.
The last two sessions are about guardrails: what to use AI for, what to leave alone, and what should never be typed into a tool, such as student names or personal details.
