For language teachers (ESL and EFL)

In a school or teaching privately. We make readings, dialogues, speaking tasks and exercises at the level you teach, and we check the level before they reach your students. I teach Business English and ESP myself.

What we make together

These are examples of the kind of work we do in the sessions. What you make depends on your students and what you bring.

CEFR-levelled readings

The same short article at A2, B1 and B2, each with comprehension questions and a short glossary.

Dialogues

A B1 dialogue on booking a hotel, in a version for pairs to act out and a gapped version for listening practice.

Speaking tasks

Information-gap activities, roleplays and discussion cards built around a topic your students care about.

Graded exercises

Vocabulary and grammar exercises that move from tightly controlled to freer practice, with an answer key.

Lesson materials

A 60-minute conversation lesson with a warm-up, tasks, language focus and a feedback stage.

Quizzes and progress checks

A short end-of-unit quiz, plus a simple rubric for marking speaking and writing.

Free samples

Two samples made with the same method I teach in the program. Both are free to download.

The same request, asked two ways

Ask for "a reading text" and you will usually get something too hard, too long and too generic. Here is the difference a few sentences make.

A first attempt

Write a reading text for my English class.

A prompt that works

I teach English to adult learners at B1 (CEFR). Write a 250-word reading text about working from home, using only the simple present and present perfect, with no idioms. Then write six comprehension questions: four true/false and two short-answer. List any words above B1 so I can add them to a glossary. Put the answer key at the end.

The second version says who you teach, what level, what to write and how it should come back. That is the habit we build in the first two sessions. It still needs checking: AI tends to drift above the level you ask for, so part of the work is checking and adjusting.

How we check the work

You know your students' level better than any tool does, so the checking stays with you. Session 8 is entirely about it.

  • Level: vocabulary and grammar matched to the CEFR level you teach, not the level the AI thinks it wrote
  • Natural English: dialogues that sound like real speakers, with no stiff textbook phrasing
  • Accuracy: facts in readings, and the English itself, including the examples in grammar exercises
  • Answer keys: gapped sentences with more than one correct answer, and keys that don't match the questions
  • Fit for your students: topics and examples they can relate to, and no cultural assumptions that don't suit your class

In a school, or teaching privately

The sessions are the same. The materials you make are different.

In a school

Materials that fit your syllabus, your class sizes and your mixed levels, including easier and harder versions of the same task.

Teaching privately

Materials tailored to one student's job, interests and goals, which is where one-to-one lessons are strongest.

Worried about accuracy, student data or AI detection?

Those are the right questions to ask. The FAQ answers them, and the last two sessions of the program are about the rules you will set for yourself.
